We are excited to introduce our first label, JASS, starting strong with Companion I (JSD001).  Companion I compiles ten tracks from ten producers hailing from the US East Coast. With 808-infused beats and soulful vocal cuts prevalent throughout, Companion seeks to take a snapshot of our zeitgeist and shine a light on up-and-coming producers and previous JASS guests. However, these tracks forgoe the abrasive textures that often dominate today, opting for a more musical element - feel-good emotions win over causticity in 2012. Featuring tracks from Obey City, Quam, Broodlings, Cc, Divine Interface, REKchampa, Avila Santo, Doctor Jeep, DEO, and RAJA, Companion I will be released digitally March 20.
